Default bike/roof rack

I'm building a scale crawler right now and would love to put on a bike rack on it. Is the anyone making one or does anyone have some ideas on how to make one.

If you go to Wal-Mart they have some mountain bikes that are just about 1:10.I was thinkin about making one while I was fab'n for my scale build.

I was thinking about the same thing, Isaw those bikes as well... They also have relatively scale ATV's and dirt bikes.

As long as you can do some fab work, it should be really simple making a bike rack. Two support bars going L to R, one or two small channel or cut down L channel mounted F to R, figure out a way to keep the bike on it, and you are done!

You looking to build a motorcycle rack, or a mountain bike rack? But I say, look at a real one, and draw up some plans, and find a bike to go on it, to help you see how long you need to get it

I'm thinking just some solid 1/8" rod for the bars, some dremel work with a chunk of plastic for the supports. I don't think that I will find a bike that is realistic enough for me (I own a bike shop and I'm kind of picky about bike stuff looking like toys) so I think I will leave with cross bars and racks for bikes.

That's cool. Have you taken the bike off any sweet jumps?

This is kind of funny, with the new forum changes, old posts are popping up everywhere
Whitetrash, that's awesome! Just what I was thinking. Where did you find the bike?
