You are turning out some of the very best stuff I've come across. Learned a lot just from studying your builds. Thanks for posting your work, Mr Roksloski.

Partly inspired by you, I recently started messing around with Styrene and bumped into these the other day. With the off chance you're not privy to them, DIY hinges.

I picked them up here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1iMyDD1nZQc
He does a great job explaining how to make and how one could go about using them.

My Example:
With some playing around I modified one of the designs to fit my personal needs. I needed something to work with a boxed in door for a cubby. It allowed not only swing but lift as well to clear the flooring.

The "U" shaped design can also work just like a car door hinge. Giving the door a box to open into or swinging out to clear the side panel, depending how you set it up.

Hope that helped a bit and wan't too much.
Also, I was wondering how you go about gluing two painted pieces together? Everything I have used seems to wanna strip the paint off in the process.

Hey thank you for that......

99% of my stuff is painted after it is built...

for the other 1% i will scrape the paint off.....

like the tool box drawer's, i scrape the paint out of the center where it is going to go....

You're verdy welcome!

I had thought that was the proper way to go about painting but the toolbox did throw me for a loop. Thanks a bunch for clarifying that for me

Ok so here we go.......

i made some mock up hinges so i could see how they work and if they will work for my needs........
you throw a cabinet face frame in the mix and, man i was scratching my head........
i Think i got it figured out.............

to make it easy on myself, i used the paperclip loops instead of bending my own..

it works... thats all i can say....
next time i need to make them longer........

and a handle.........

thanx for lookin............

Start with end cap's and a coupler.....

i only used a bit over 1/2 of the coupler
epoxyed them all together..........
a little puddy and sanding and you get this........

the Block
layed out for the pump housing......

platform for pump and motor

its getting there........
