Wonderful work and great skills! Gives me ideas to my push my own garage project onwards. Nice to see good old hand made accessories and not only 3D printed cheater stuff!

Thanks! Wood is pine and patina is made with iron-vinegar mixture with help of some brown/rust shade paint.

Been working on this 2 post lift made from... you guessed it, styrene. I would have preferred steel or aluminum but I already had styrene so I didn't have to search for metal pieces. The styrene allows for more detail and it will support my 5.5lb. scx10 but that is probably close to the limit. Now it will have to wait until the weather warms up enough to paint outside, could be months.

Bucko- your styrene skill are sick, still too intimidated by this process to pick it up,- yet. In do time i plan on it, but until then your an inspiration as to the possibilities one can create w this material, truly top notch my friend!

Thought my scale garage needed a welder, so here it is. Next will be a welding helmet and grinder.

cutting mat is always super clean...... what kind of machine cuts out your parts...?

It's a self healing mat. The wife said someone would notice how clean it is when she saw me cutting on a scrap piece of wood, and teased me about the concept of a cutting mat. Thanks for noticing.

Had a week of great weather and was able to use mother natures spray booth to paint and then finish the lift and welder.
