Default Trailer build attempt

Here is my attempt to build a trailer.
Made from brazed stainless steel square pipe.

It will build with :
- Brake lights.
- "Red and White" lines (I don't know what it's called).
- Ramps.
- 3Dprinted trailer axle, still needs to revise the axle.
- Leaf springs on each side.
- 3Dprinted trailer fender.

Hopefully it turns out to be a scale trailer.

Great work! What size square tube and what are your plans for the hitch? The more I see things done with a 3d printed the more I want one

Thanks, I'm using 10mm square tube and for the hitch for now I'm just thinking using a ball end. I will look later if it's scale enough using ball end.

Was from a doll house's hinges. Ebay has them a lot.

Update..

Last axle that I printed didn't hold well. It was PLA, after a month (or 2 months, forget how long). The axle near wheel, where the bearings rest is broken.

Then I made new one with ABS. It looks like more stronger.

Nothing changed on dimensions. But just now I printed 4 separate axle housings and CA'd them to make 2 halves separate axle housings assembly. And screw them for a complete axle.

More updates,

I made a coupler out of 3Dprint, it actually works. I add locking mechanism on it.

The 'hitch safety lock' didn't close enough to the ball. I need to modify my coupler design, if it can't I will remove 'hitch safety lock'.
