Post Gaz’s “when your hungry on the trail” trailer.

Hi,
So fancied making a trailer, did so and when I was done it just didn’t do it for me, had a idea about a adventure caravan but instead, had to do this, it’s a unit built onto the original trailer, hence the join.
Now met my wife of 12 years in a burger van while I was a truck driver, so done for my wife (it earns lots more brownie points for future purchases )

It’s far from perfect I know but opinions both good and bad welcomed

Running lights for the late night drive home,

All switches/receiver in nose box.

Let there be light.....

Underside using Tamiya truck/trailer axles,

Finally hooked up to my three scale trucks,

Lwb tf2,

Trx4,

Scx10 defender 90 (not turned a wheel in 5 years now),

Thanks for looking.

Fantastic work man, and I like the way you think about earning brownie points. Is that all styrene? What did you bond it with? Is it a real changeable white board or just painted? I think it fits with blue truck best; can totally see that chick drivin' it. Think you'll ever sell your scx10 d90 to fund another build? I can't buy it; just wondering.

Thank you. Still a long way to go yet though detail wise

Yep nearly all styrene in a few thicknesses, I tack it together with super glue or some plastic weld type model glue then use 2 part epoxy on any joint that could possibly become weak over time when used.

That d90 has cost me silly money using just Axial hop-ups wherever possible and hd parts, holds quite a lot of sentimental value too so can’t see me ever selling it to be fair.

The trx4 does look a little large compared to the trailer so yeah the tf2 looks about the best tow vehicle
