Default High Lift Jack Mounts on Hood

I have a Traxxas Defender and the RC4WD funtional high lift jack. I've seen some rigs where the jack mounts on the hood, also disguising the body clips. Can anyone share how that is done?

TIA,

Rob

I mounted the same high-lift jack on my defender hood ( trx4). I didn't utilize the actual body mounting posts. I mounted mine behind the body posts... closer to the windshield. I'm happy with it even though it would've looked more scale to have hidden the posts or incorporated them into a scale-looking high-lift mount. One reason that I didn't bother going that route was due to any additional time/ hassle that it might've created in terms of placing/ removing the body. Here's a pic even though it's not exactly what you're going for.
