Default Scale Tow Strap

Here is a scale tow strap that I made. I need to get some different material that takes the die better to get a darker yellow

You might want to try salt and vinegar in your dye. Also a lot of heat helps too.
Looks great though. I would run one on my scaler.

Will it work to actually tow someone out? I just worked on one and took me 2 weeks to get it done. And it looks nowhere as good as that. Really scale also.

the fabric store sells little nylon ribbon that would work awesome for this too, i used to use it for seat bealts in my models. oh and a wide variety of widths and colors too!

It should pull any model out, I pulled on the loops as hard as I could and had my kids pull on them and they held. I did 4 of them in about an hour. I will do some more with red thread and neater stitches. The real ones I have in the store are stitched with red on yellow.

That is a VERY scale tow strap . My big steak fry hands can't munipulate things that small . Very nice detail.

those are some nice scale straps...
the clevices arent really scale. to big for the application, that size can be found at any hardware store.
