Confused F350 fuel cell and filler neck Made a fuel cell for the flat bed. It's a top half of a old wall charger. The straps are small rubber strips. I just noticed in the pic one is crooked. I might have to glue them down. http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/d...eldtrip077.jpg Filler neck is made from nitro fuel tube, and brass cone from a fridge ice maker. Holder is just Styrene. Just stuff that was laying around the garage. I'm looking for a better filler, one that is closed in and not open end. Filler neck took about 5 min. to make. Just a quick mock up. http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/d...eldtrip078.jpg http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/d...eldtrip079.jpg |
I like it. Might have to do something similiar if you don't mind? |
Looks cool man! Nice work. |
nice use of the infamous "wall wart" "thumbsup" |
I like it. Good job. Try gluing a styrene disc in the opening of the filler neck. Just put a tiny strip of styrene across it as the "handle" that you twist to open it. Paint black, and call it good |
I think it would look better on the under side where it is. Like on the lip of the bed part. But nice thinking. I love the light on the rear end though under it on the chassis. I am doing light like that on my 1:1 all the way around. |
