Hello all you hard at work committee members.

I have to assume that since the rules are not out yet, there are obviously problems. I just wanted to say that even though you may have your differences of opinions, (and I cant stress this enough) you have to really think about the big picture of these rules and remember that there are tons of us waiting to build our trucks based off your plans.

Now I know you might say to your self (so what, wait) well I am more than willing to wait. But you were all selected among your peers, as well as by people that you didn't even know suggested you to be on the board to make this very big step in what Scale will be for the future.

Please respect each other as drivers and builders, Try not to be too critical in your decisions, and most of all work for the greater good.

all in all these rules will not be perfect, but in time they will come to grow and be refined. If you don't have plans to help allow this hobby to grow as an important part of your development of these rules. Then I ask on behalf of all of us to step down and allow the process to continue forth. Its only fair that those who are involved be serious as to laying down the ground work to these rules that will propel us forward.

Thanks and good luck. we are waiting patiently.

This actually hasn't been going on very long at all. I wouldn't rush things, it's way more important to have them right then have them quick.

Just FYI, every year the USRCCA rules committee spends 3 months going over their rules to make any changes for the new year. And they have a solid set of rules to start with.

Sounds good we will be waiting, we have a SCX10 we want to do some mods to for competition and want to run the Class 2 but want to know what we can and can't do before we start the mods...

As Jason stated it takes awhile. Everything takes at least a week to discuss. Even though everything is done online..it dosn't mean everyone is online at the same time.

Example: Some logs on asks a question, and 24 hours later he has 12 replies. Usually that generates more questions and that goes on for several days. Nothing is every as simple as it seems.

That is exactly how it goes. I'm just lucky that I have an Android phone, I have no idea how I would be doing this without one. We have enough stuff done that we could release more info right now, but we're so close to being done that we would like to release it all around January 1st, we'll see how it goes this week.
