•Truggies are allowed, but you must replace the ladder frame behind the cab with tube, and the truggy
rails must extend past the rear axle pumpkin to be legal. The bed must have a roll bar hoop and
integrated shock mounts. It also must be a structural part of the rear of the vehicle. (If your bed does not
meet ALL of the preceding criteria, it does not count as a truggy bed).

Norton felt he should delete his post so to not confuse anyone......but I'll post a pic of a chassis to clarify what I am saying.

Why would you say debatable?

Locally we have 3 1.9 classes there's street(off the production line ie tf2 d90) then weekend warrior(street legal but modified) and then 1.9 hardcore(trailered only) but my group only does street and hardcore but Portland does all 3 and I havent felt like going to a Portland comp and potentially(depending on person determining class of rigs) get stuck in hardcore and get beat down but trucks with 2x the capability of mine that is why I said debatable but chances are I'm probably a idiot and and worrying over nothing

I should also add that with my omf wheels and .600 hubs my tires have barely 1/4" inside the fender

Does your club use SORRCA rules? Sounds like a modified version. The SORRCA designation for your rig would be C2.

My local group does a lot different but I like it that way ie one free reverse for every gate completed and class 3 is 2.2(in our group) and we do -30 points max not -50 like Portland but I am started to hijack the thread so anyway here is many pics of class 2 truggy rigs if u want more pics pm me and I will set u up

Those Salem guys are weird and stuck in 2011. Come on up to a Portland ORCRC comp and we'll show you how the men do it.

By the way, we only have Class 1, 2 and 3. No multiple 1.9 classes. You'll be competing against everything from a stock Honcho to a full on comp Jeep, I fall right in the middle so we can be average together

My one issue with the truggy rule is that you have to have integrated shock hoops to be considered a truggy but you cannot claim points for having integrated shock hoops.
