2013 rules

My question was a mistake. I read the rule and thought is was for Class 3.

Sorry for the waste of you time.

truggies, IMO, would look kinda goofy at 2/3 the body width.

i like the frame rail idea best. craddle in the spare tire at the back of your rig with some tube and you are within spec.

half width dovetails would work easily also.

either would be work for most truggy builds and still keep them looking half way decent... IMO

Tube fenders:

i agree, that tube fenders similar to the jeep bolt on's should be allowed. maybe detail the rule a little more... something similar to this

  • "tube fenders may be mounted to the chassis or body, (tube fenders are defined as tubing used to replace stock fender flares or follow existing fender flares to add protection against trail damage)"

just my 2 cents..

PS, thanx for all the hard work on the new rules. i think you guys did a great job, minus a few tweaks here and there..

So, a DNS can give you a potential of +90 points?

I understand this was a typo but it had me giggling , and Ricky's disabled driver body parts discussion Would zombie's count as "human" figures if they were once human but not currently human?

There's nothing I have to add to any of this but to say thanks to the forum collective for entertainment while the wife has her tv time

I would say not to include bumper. Would have to be width of outside of bed at corner....

Then again who knows I can't even build a rig. Lol

It's that nasty word. ( competition ) As soon as that word pops up, Thats the moment when the toy truck isn't a toy truck anymore.

It has became the weapon of chioce to defeat our fellow man with. We will push our new found weapon to it's limits, we will search for every advantage we can to make our new found weapon the best it can be, so when we hit the courses we will be ready and defeat our fellow man and rasie to the top and grab all the glory with our new found weapon of choice to compete with.
All with in the rules of course.

This is when the trouble starts, there those that are ready for war with thier new found weapon of choice. Then there's those who still have their toy trucks. Well I could go for a full page but yall get the point.

I will smash your face into a car windshield, and then take your mother Dorothy Mantooth out for a nice seafood dinner and never call her again.

Ricky you nailed it!
This is why the emphasis on the competition portion of a true scale event should be leveled. Reward the builders for the hours and hours they spend creating amazing pieces of functional art. Then go drive them for FUN!
