We are simply allowing a broader range of vehicles to compete potentially bring new people to the scale scene.

All rules are based off of one or many "personal opinions"..

It's tough setting rules and wording them out to make every one happy..

Woohoo. Just picked up a roller to build an ifs class 1 out of and when I got home it hit me, does this fit into the cc01 clause? Thanks for all the discussion and the work from the committee before I had to ask the question. Thanx rcc for having all the info in one place!

The CC01 clause is now just a "Pan Chassis" clause encompassing anything that people can make fit into the class using the SORRCA guidelines.

If you have tires that are 4.19" in height or smaller, meet the bumper standards for C1 and have a body that covers at least 50% of the tires you should be set.

Brush up on the entire 2013 rule set, but with those small things you should be covered for any SORRCA event in the world.

Right on! Yeah I got the rules down as far as building and teching trucks. I knew there was a provision in the past but hadn't given the TH any thought until a buddy deamed it worthless lol. Whole cage is coming off and a full hard body will be added. Only obstacle I see now is the chassis has to be as long as the wheel base in c1 (really odd cause class 2 has to be 3" longer than the WB). I'm gonna build it either way lol. Thanx Turtle!
