Sounds cool, but I think manditory, and max track width is crap. It should just be worded to make sure the body matches the suspension that came with the vehicle stock along with the width of the body... For example, Jeep TJ has coils in the front and rear so you would obviously need to replicate that without coil overs... It wouldnt be scale to have leafs on a "stock" TJ | |

No. Does the "0" in class 0 mean the number of participants? Last edited by War Pig; 07-14-2011 at 11:03 AM. |

no the "0" is actually an o that is missing the n in front of it. its the "no" class....... class 1 pretty much is the same thing but makes sense with well written rules. imo class 0 would end up being refined to b......never mind

Now a KOH class would be sweet. Spare tire, Light bars, Ect, that would be a sweet class.

| Too many classes will just water things down way too much and make for a huge, complicated rule book. ...especially when exactly what you described already fits within at least one other class.

Me too! Me too! I want a class 2.5. Basically a small tire class 3. But seriously, take a ultra 4 for example. Build a tube frame porportional to a tires like 2.2 pitbulls and it ends up looking like its 1/7 scale. Make it 1/10 scale with a ladder frame under it to get it in class 2 and it kinda wrecks the spirit of class 2. Meh, If I get to compete I'll just do my best to make a legal truck with the current rules. |

What would be the reason behind this Class 0? If anything I'd personally like to see a class using a quite different rule set where "true to scale" realism is emphasised over absolute cross country performance. Pick a 1:1 make and model, or even better a specific vehicle (and date), and make a scale model from it (scale somewhere 1:8 - 1:12). The closer you get to the original (in looks and performance) the better! |
