Default rail chassis

Curious what the definition of a rail chassis is. In the general rule section its says it must be a rail chassis like an scx10. Although there are a few exceptions. How is a wraith legal or any full tube rigs legal in c3.

Rail chassis are ladder style like stated, SCX, trail finder etc. C3 can use either rail or tube, so that is why the Wraith is C3.

In the 2014 rules it doesnt say that c3 can be tube chassis but in the 2013 rules it does. It must be a typo in the 2014 rules. Or it was forgotten about when they modified that section.

You must run a rail chassis*(for example: Bruiser/Mountaineer, SCX-10, Reign RC K2-3S, 3L, 4, 5, MFM, X-Trail, CR-01, UTE, etc...). No TVP (twin vertical plate) chassis' or frame rail extensions on a TVPs. Tub chassis' are allowed, but chassis must be covered by the body and follow all other scale rules per class guidelines. An example of a tub chassis vehicle is CC-01, DF01, Twin Hammers, etc.

Just copied and pasted from the 2014 rules

I noticed that too. It was a simple mistake. Check out the rules discussion thread, as it has been corrected now.

Yep, that's correct Shane, I spaced that out. There was a line left out when we transferred the 2014 rules to the site.
