I know everyone has their own opinion, I guess what I'm asking is would you give up a little highth over more grip?

I run Pitbull Growlers (4.75") in Class 2. I think 1.9 Rock Beasts (4.45") have slightly more overall traction but I run the Growlers, so yes.....I do give up a tiny bit of traction for a taller tire. Lots of choices out there these days.

We'll know soon, but I'll put my money on the new Team Ottsix/Voodoo Tires 1.9 KLR'S. If they're anything like the U4's, they'll be the best thing since sliced bread. My U4's are definitely better than my rock beast 2's.

Now we are getting somewhere I'm in the process of deciding on tires for a class 2 rig and just wanted some input of tires that were class 2 compliant. Thanks for sharing some info

my experience with the voodoo U4 was less than stellar, vented or non vented...my Iroks were much better in every way i tried them...the pitbull rockbeast 2's were a close second with the U4 being a distant third...i really tried to like the U4 but didnt feel I should have to cut alot of the tire away for decent performance..that being said I have pre-ordered a set of the KLR 1.9 tires because I think they will exceed all expectations and my 1.9 Iroks!

I will say that one set of 1.9 tires I bought really surprised the hell out of me....the 1.9 falken wildpeaks...they were almost equal in performance to my Irok's and about even with my TSL's.

the foams I used in all my tires were crawler innovations foams... double deuce and deuces wild in the 2.2 tires and the 2 stage lil nova foams in the 1.9 tires...

I like the proline tsl xl for the terrain I run in. Mostly dirt, mud, tree structures, and some rock
