| Re: 2016 Scale Rules would these count as a non-functional scale point? People count wipers, mirrors, shifters... it's not a sticker it's a actual realistic emblem. No biggie if they don't count. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk |

These were questioned so figured I'd get a official response from the committee. These new prolines that were teased just a bit ago. They are gonna be a legal scale tire correct? To me they are just a pre siped flat iron. But with people questioning them I'd like to ask here Sent from my SM-S820L using Tapatalk |

Tread wise they're fine (no worse than a KLR). Not sure what their listed height is.

They will be listed at 4.75x1.76" per info from some proline reps. So I knew that part was good Sent from my SM-S820L using Tapatalk |

This was brought up on facebook. And i figured id bring it up here. If i were to make a bumper, sliders, flatbed... ect out of CF its not metal, or plastic its technically a ceramic according to google. So its worth -0 points correct? Or is it by default plastic. Any more thought by the rules committee to release the new 2017 rules early? Or maybe a "teaser" of some new rules already voted on? Ive been hearing rumors of some substantial changes. In particular to C1... I know its early September, but several people are already planning new builds and amassing parts for 2017. If there are changes on the horizon, maybe someone from SORRCA could give a heads up so builds can start? Much Appreciated! |

at what point do advertised manufacturer specs vs the actual size of the tire create an issue with the rules? i certainly dont see the new pitbull being banned from c2 since i know a bunch of you sorrca guys favor them and knew what was coming, and its a cool tire... but i gotta say im surprised to see it. |

its very typical of me to go half cocked before knowing all the details, and then issuing out a heartfelt apology. edit- so i got a set of the pitbull 1.9 xl's and along with being kickass they are right on the money at 4.75. Last edited by badhoopty; 09-28-2016 at 06:55 AM. | |

So CMS is chassis mounted servo.... but if I have my steering servo attached to the skid and utilize a series of push rods, bell cranks (attached to the chassis) and wizardry similar to metal mashers old class3 steering. Or a Tamiya bruiser steering, Would that still receive the cms points? Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk |
