| 3D engine question
Did the search and couldn't find a definitive answer. SORRCA rules state: 3D engine (Must be in a reasonable location and appear to be powering the drivetrain of the vehicle) -4 I would consider these examples as 3D engines per the rule and worthy of the 4 scale points. This is the piece I have the question about. Would you consider this a 3D engine or not? I would say it a non-functioning realistic exterior item, not a 3D engine. Not trying to start anything, if someone wants to put the RPM blower on their truck for the look cool, but for scale points I feel credit should be given where credit is due. |

I would agree with you that it's a non-functioning accessory and not an engine. After all, it's just a blower and manifold which is definitely not an engine.. |
