Maybe the easiest way out (IF you are still gonna allow it) is to make everything that tucks behind a wheel legal. Like "cannot be visible when tire is viewed straight on" then who cares how it attaches

Working on a project. Just came up against a rule that I had never considered a problem. Have to run a metal rail chassis in c1 next year. Would running the tub to support the ifs be an issue?

Regarding Post 423, we don't currently have any plans to update the scale driver size. We only added the minimum height this year.

tks for answers.

for legal or not legal... I hope in restrictive change for class 1

for minimun height... I hope for a future correction, but it will be very nice pay like full driver, the driver over minimun height with less legs/feet from now (2018 ).

I think that's fine as you have a full rail chassis, It's not that different than a skid plate.

Thank you for the input. I thought I was good, but I wanted to make sure.

I think it's good to go assuming it's deep enough for a legal figure. It's a good looking interior for sure.
Based on a previous ruling it is possibly legal. Dependent upon how a figure fits.

Considering you add a steering wheel, since it doesn't come with one.

Any chance we're going to see to 2018 SORRCA rules early this year?

Build season is starting, would be nice to get a jump on things!

Bomber RR10 related question and the rule regarding electronics coverage.

'All vehicles must have the motor, transmission, and electronics covered and hidden when viewed from the top and sides'

Would this require a relocation of the Bomber's axle mounted servo? And, would a Bomber require wheel wells up front?

TIA

Servo in the axle is fine. Wheel well covers are not mandatory but would make it look better and you would get a point for them.

Hi guys.

a question..

the toyota bj40:

for class 2.

the front to the doors is pinched by default

the rule say:
"the inside of the front tires cannot extend outside of the width of the cab at the doors"

but where have I to take the measure?
the width of the cab at the front of door is lower that the width of the cab at the rear of door.

In the middle?

tks

Not a committee member but it makes sense to use the back side because that's how wide it is for the bed and fenders. Now if you got rid of the front fenders that might change things.

Has been discussed before.

The widest part is used.

And to be absolutely clear. The widest part of the doors. The fenders or the bed have nothing to do with this.
