Default Custom hard body rule?

Is there a thickness requirement for "custom hard bodies"? Or Can I use any thickness of styrene?

I can see how and why it would be interpreted that way. I am not sure that was the intent. Rules committee will have to clarify/ discuss that one and comunicate the intent via a revision if needed.
