| Subaru Brat - Drop Bed Class 1 question
I heard somewhere that the Toyota bodies were going to be legal for class 1 drop bed depth even though they are not fully 1.25 deep, because they have been around for so long. I have the same question for the Tamiya Subaru Brat - it always used to count for drop bed points (its just over 1" deep & has molded in inner fenders. Is it also allowed to be considered for drop bed points? I don't really want to cut out my floor to drop it .25 inches & lose the strength of the body. It's getting hard enough to get scale points when the points keep increasing. There needs to start being a limit or everyone can just drive Jeeps, Toyota's & Chevy's. I love the scale part but starting to make 60 points to be considered scale is starting to push it & if it goes further then it will begin to lose it's fun & people. New people will not want to start into it knowing they are that far out to start. |

I don’t have an inside line or anything but i dont think thats the case. The thing about making rules is that it gets harder if you start adding exemptions.
