| Ascender battery tray, Legal 2018?
So the Ascender has been out for some time now. According to the SORCCA 2018 ruleset is the "stock" battery tray illegal?

I was hoping this was a yes or no question for clear confirmation Truck has been out for a while, to my knowledge IT hasn't changed but the ruleset has. My interpretation is that the stock setup is legal.

It's not legal to my knowledge as I believe the battery tray mounts to the upper suspension links / axle. I've never owned an ascender though.

Still illegal by SORRCA standards. Disconnect it from the front axle, and secure it to the frame and you should be fine.
