Default Body Thickness and Stinger

I have two questions:

1) The minimum thickness of .060 is relative only to vacuum formed and 3d printed bodies or applies also to handmade metal bodies ? Is a minimum thickness required for bodies made out of aluminum sheetmetal ?

2) With regards to the stinger, is a minimum size/lenght required in order to allow scale points, such as that it must protrude over the hood profile ?

1. No. That would thicker than the sheet metal on a real car. There is currently no requirement for thickness the sheet metal of the body.

2. No, a stinger does not have to be obnoxious. It can be a brawler style bar.
