Been to St Georges many times....usually fly into VEGAS....its a pretty cool drive.

Just checked on flights to Vegas, cheapest was 180ish round trip... Flights to Cedar city was about 125.00 more hmm, decisions, decisions.

I'm planning on making this one. Wish I could have made it to the NW nationals, life was just to crazy. I've been to three peaks in a 1.1 and it is a blast so bring you're 1.1 crawlers as well.

one thing i wanted to verify for this event. our club is used to winching off of shoes, i know we need to get away from this.. so, since the rules state "natural objects" i was wondering if that means we need to find winch points off rocks, cracks, twigs etc. or will there be a rig available to winch off of?

No shoe winching. Other rigs & natural object are the options.

No time stop for finding a rig or turning on your winch. Historically there has always been a rig or winch point readily available. The judges usually have their personal rigs in spots that there may be a winch needed. When building the courses there may be winch loops built where the builders can see where there may be a need. in the case of a stuck rig (roll over or what ever) most guys are willing to help with a winch rig when needed if there isn't one in the area already.
