It's possible my girlfriend will be joining me, and I've certainly seen ladies at some of my local g6 style events, though this will be my first large event.

Unfortunately not many women are into scale crawling. I can tell you that when women do show up at events, they seem to get "extra attention" from most of the guys . Tell her to come on down, the terrain is beautiful and everyone is nice and helpful at these events......plus tell her she gets to spend quality time with her husband

I've brought my family to many of these events and they have always had a good time. Like WarPig says, they get extra attention from all the guys, but in a good way.

Depending on how many of the WA boys I have to shuttle from the airport, my wife and daughter will come down.
The wife would drive but it's always hard with a 2year old for both of us to comp.
she comes out on fun runs all the time though.

I'm in cedar city visiting family right now with my crawler and all I can say is cedar has the best terrain I've ever Driven on. I will do everything I can to make it. Coming from Los Angeles this place rocks compared. Now all I need is a scaler.

Should have tickets for sale in the next week or so. We are still trying to nail down the cost but should be around $50 per class.

Question about getting there/timing etc. If one were to only run a class two rig, can I show up friday night? Or does everyone need to be there thursday night?

You can show up when ever you want, just be there to tech in the morning of class 2 and your golden.

Hey guys hows it goin? I'm trying to make it up there with a friend and his two kids. Was reading through the rules and dont quite understand the c2 boat side rule about having to be at least 4.25" high? Is it as straight forward as it reads? Am I missing something? Or am I just a dumb*ss? Thanks.

It's straight forward and is meant to stop someone from cutting a body off under the windows and boatsiding the rest of the body down.
Measure from where you cut the body to where it connects at the frame - so long as your within that your good.

It's all about having fun on the rocks - the rules just help keep it fair.

Gotcha! I think I read it wrong earlier, thank you for the reply yes and fun it will be! Can't wait, my buddy and I have never done a crawl comp. we have competed in a few of the larger 1/10th scale indoor races at our local track, I'm sure this will be a little different.
