May drivers go to Three Peaks before the 25th and test their trucks? I know I would like to check my setup, but not pre-run any courses, to know the conditions before I compete.

Also, thanks to everyone that has worked so hard to get this event going. Your efforts are appreciated.

I'm sure it's ok... I've been twice since they announced it. The area is so large I doubt you will run the same lines that will be ran at the comp

Yes should be fine, the place is big and there are many areas to mess around and set-up.... but once we start setting up the courses...OFF LIMITS at risk of disqualification for pre-running the courses.

Any ideas on planned course formats as far as water obstacles or time limits?

The 'Jero is being rebuilt and I'm debating the battery size and the hassle of waterproofing now or waiting till after we get back.

I'd like to keep average times around 4-6 minutes with a limit of 8-10 minutes. As far as I know there isn't any water around there.....unless it rains really hard, and we don't want that. I would guess a 1300mah battery will get you through 2-3 courses without much problem.

Classes 1,2 and 3 won't have water. TTC is a different story....the Tank Trap alone has at least 5 water holes. YOU WILL HAVE TO BE WATERPROOF FOR THE TTC.

Yeah I rarely worry about waterproofing here in Utah the entire 10+ years I have been crawling...and even when there is water on one of my courses it is rarely more then axle deep.

...Yeah as WP said ^ ignore no water for TTC.
