Sorry if I missed it but what's the minimum voltage these will run from? Wondering if they'll work OK from 2s packs?

They do work on 2s but to optimize the light output 3s is recommended. There are a lot of guys in my area who have 2s in their scalers so they run a small 3s 250mah battery for the lights.

Hey Bill,
All 3" light bars come in white. It is possible to use Tamiya transparent red paint to get the same effect. Check out my Wraith build, I made a 1" red taillight, turned out pretty good.

Hi wondering what happen to the reflector for the more scale look.

I think you could make the reflector so that the center LED projects farther and the exterior ones more spread then it would be the best of both worlds.

Unfortunately with the volumes that we produces these in I can't make the pricing work. Basically a machined reflector would almost double the price of the light bars. A vacuum formed or molded reflector would increase price of the light bar by ~50%.

This isn't anything new but I thought it could helpful. I'm using this lipo balancer adapter to plug my lightbar into the balance plug. It's a clean way to get a high voltage from your 3S or larger lipo's. Might be tricky if you have to take your body off all the time though.

Check out post #3 for a good explanation about using 4S+ lipo balance plugs for your 12V lightbars. Pulling power from the balance plug - RC Groups

Damn I want one! How am I supposed to get any 1:1 shit done at this rate? I'd actually like to run a 4" on the roof and a 1" bar in the grille of my KOH buggy. (hint hint)

Pre-dyed epoxy in amber color yields a muddy colored light...looks OK when light is off but looks like baby poo when light is on.

I've had decent results with the Tamiya clear red paint that is applied after the epoxy is dry. I'll try to make a test of the amber colored clear paint this weekend...
