Default Product Update:

We have removed the water proof specification due to the flexibility of the Delrin housing, as a result we have implemented a price reduction. Price for each pair of rock lights is now $42 shipped.

What is everyone using to power these? Would 6 volts be enough to power them?

For fully output it is recommended you use 3s Lipo (11.1v).

I know this thread is several months old but just to ask, could a separate 3s pack be used or would the main 3s battery be enough? I was thinking of using a smaller 3s battery for the light bar.

Heyok has a low and high volt light controller that uses inline deans to slice in between batt ans esc. You can use this stand alone but just plugging in batt. And not batt leads from esc. They also have any external batt light controller. See his product's in the electronics vendor forum.

Either would be fine, I do offer accessories wire harness' that allow you to tap into the main 3s battery or go direct from a small 800mAh with a JST style connector.

The Heyok stuff is cool as well!

Do you have any pictures showing about how much light these put out on the ground?

Very interested on pulling the trigger on a set of these for the wraith
