Looks great! The rest of you guys need to post up some pics of your camper builds... there's 25+ of these things floating around and I have virtually no pics.

Spam from the other paint and body thread ...I have been wanting to build a beat up camper and I have talked to some of you about it so I thought I'd share some of the ideas. First off cracked windows... Tools required; Airsoft gun Safety glasses Shoot window from about 3feet at slight angle to reduce the chance of you eating the pellet. Patches and trim... Aluminum HVAC tape works great for all sorts of details. Lettering can be removed with acetone or a little alum polish. Roof repairs... Liquid electrical tape sorta looks like roof tar Fancy 60's trim... the crafts store sells 8x11 sheets of copper, brass, bronze, gold etc in super thin sheets, not quite "leaf" (they have that too) but thin enough to make a diamond pattern with or other designs with an x-acto blade. Lighting! Check out Weapons camper build... he is the first one I've seen to utilize the predrilled holes. Weapon's Trailfinder 2 More build pics! Neon9's build toyota hilux with a Speedweigand Customs slide-in camper That's it for now off to bed! |
