Default Forest Falls scale run

A few of us got together at Forest Falls, CA today for a scale run. We were hoping for and got snow!
Enjoy!

Awesome vid as usual Pantablo, that place looks like a lot of fun, tons of lines everywhere. I know it's been said before, but your Range Rover desperately needs a repaint haha.

Yes it is. He took a standard New Bright 1:8 scale 4dr JK and just cut the back off. Then filled in the back door lines and made a drop bed. Moved the back window up to the back of the new cab.

Its a really nice spot. Its a bit far for me to go often though. It was 190 miles round trip and took about an hour forty each way.
people keep saying that about the rover but I like it as is. I may touch up the roof rack, lol.

I think that JK sits too high too. Those are reduced 2.2 Moabs as well, lol...

Thanks guys. I really appreciate the kind words.

Yes, the camera survived...It actually happened at the start of the day. You can hear me say "Oh no!" because the lens was face down in the mud, lol. It wiped off easily though, to my relief.

thanks for another great video Pantablo! Do any of the rigs in your group use leaf springs or is everything multi-link and coil overs?

Glad you enjoy them! On this run there were no leafed rigs but generally there are a few guys that run them. 59sled has his clod leafed I think. 4RUNN1 has his 4runner leafed, at least at front, not sure on back. he also has a couple other yotas that are all leafed. SebringMGB ran leafs on his yota hellux. Both of them get great articulation with them too.
Edit: Diaz also has a leafed Wrangler, a couple other f350's are leafed too. I'd like to do a leafed rig sometime, having never done one.

Thanks guys. It is a really nice spot. This and Vasquez are probably, in my opinion, the best two spots around in terms of variety and sheer size.
