| RC Adventures - Axle Twisters 2010 Scale T.T.C Video Thread WOW! What a great event! I had the privilege of filming the 2010 Axle Twisters Scale Off Road RC Club Tough Truck Competition this year, and what a great time had by all! Now to sort through all the great footage, and show the world what Scale Trail Trucks can do at their best! A special thanks to all of the Axle Twisters RC club and the videographers who graciously submitted their work for placement into the video series. You sure had some great angles and wicked footage to add some extra spice to this great jamboree. There was a total of 6 events making this years TTC one to remember! I will be adding new videos to this thread as I have them available for release. Some Folks have asked about the RULES of this TTC... Well my friends at Axle Twisters came up with the regulations and specs.. so Ill post them here for you to see for the competition videos __________________________________________________ With any scale event, there will be some tech requirements. But in true Axle Twisters form they will be pretty open. Unlimited Class General- Shaft driven scale rigs only (CC-01 chassis exempt) Any rigs that you may be concerned about legalities, can be reviewed by the AT club. Chassis- ''Scale'' chassis, This means NO crawler plates. Ladder style frames. (Back halved truggies ok as long as the front portion is of the ladder style) Must have front and rear tow hooks (center positioned mount in rear) Rear may be removable Body- Minimum cab and hood required (Scale motor required if no hood, and full tube rigs exempt from body requirement) Tires- Up to 5.5'' tire height with unlimited width. 5.6'' tall and up restricted to 1.5'' wide Dually tires acceptable (up to 5.5'' and a maximum of 3'' wide total) (Modded tires acceptable) Wheels- No wheel limit Motors- No limit Batteries- No limit Dig Allowed Steering 4-steer and axle mounted servos acceptable Track width No restrictions Misc. Water proofing - Highly recommended (not required for all events) Winch - recommended (not required for all events) Changes to trucks between events will include pinions, shocks and tires. Stock Class General- Box stock Axial SCX, Tamiya CC-01 CR-01 Must have front and rear tow hooks (center positioned mount in rear) Rear may be removable Body- Full scale body Tires- 4.5'' non modded Wheels- No wheel limit Motors- Silver can Batteries- 7 Cell max No dig Steering Front only Track width No restrictions Misc. Good work all around fellas!!On the hill climb did the hummer at the end have a suck down winch ?? It looked a bit low in the front end..

Lol! You will see... There are still two more events to come ... I will be releasing them later this week ... "TANK TRAP".... and "MUD BOG!" The best is yet to come.....! |

Looks like a fun time. Glad to see that yota rig I built finally made it down to Lethbridge ! What's up with the crawler plates on some of those rigs? Did they just decide to relax the rules a bit so more people could have fun? Sounds like true Axle Twisters style to me; bring it and prepare to break it ! |
