| Recon with the Honcho
Shot a little more video of the Honcho this weekend. I recently stretched the wheelbase for the bigger 2.2 tires and wheels. Definitely looks and performs better now. But, she is due for a rebuild after a year of mud, water, snow and TTC type events. I've destroyed at least 5 motors in the last year. Bearings and gears sound a little rough now too. I will update my build thread soon. Link to video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rA0OOkHZj40 |

Thanks guys. Started the teardown tonight. Found a few seized bearings in the rear axle so far. |

In this video I am running the stock 30wt oil in the shocks. Out front the springs are also stock. In the back I have been messing with a really light spring set-up, because the rear end on this Honcho is so light. I am running 3 of the stock short springs on each rear shock. So far it is working great, but I think going to the softer long springs in the rear would give me the same effect. | |
