Default Axial Wraiths at Flagstaff

Ty and I took the Wraiths out again lastweek and ran them on a 2.4 mile trail ride.

Vimeo

from RCCrawler on Vimeo.

Took a pair of Wraiths up to Flagstaff mountain outside of Boulder, Colorado. We ran them for 2.4 miles and ended up using about 4400mah for each crawler.

That day Ty popped a lower link off of it's ball, a zip tie fixed that. Then after the filming we were both beating on them and both of us ended up burning up our motors.

You make some badass video's. The Wraith is sick, I got to get one. What batteries are you using, I know the 4400 but what type?

These are the pack I am using, just because I had them, you can fit a way bigger pack in there.

I had the stock motor in and used it to film both of my wraith videos and do a bunch of other bashing. Ty blew up his stocker right after filming the first video and was running a 15turn HPI motor, the one that comes in the mini trophy truck.

I actually really wanted to do an rcsparks style video, but Michael J. Fox was busy that day and couldn't be my camera man.

Go up flagstaff mountian in boulder. All the way to the parking lot at the summit.

There are tons of trails up there, but I'll try to make this easy.

Here are the trail maps so you can move it around and get oriented. http://www.bouldercolorado.gov/index...94&Itemid=1036

Here is the close up map so I can show exactly what we did. I have been hiking this little loop for years, it's a nice little getaway.

From realization point head north on the ute trail. The first intersection you get to is just a dead end that goes up a little ways. Just a little farther you get to a spot where 5 trails converge at that point take a hard left, almost doing a u-turn. The trail will now wind all the way back down and lead you right back to your car.

Hopefully that makes sense?
