Do you suffer? Made a video short to test out a 10-22mm lens. I may use it to take footage at the Axial Northwest Scale Championship this year. I think that the wide angle lends itself well to scale footage. You be the judge.... Turn on HD!! >>Subscribe to Scale 4X4 Alliance on You Tube<< . Last edited by Pointman; 06-28-2012 at 09:51 PM. |

| Re: SCALE ADDICTiON Thanks Blake. So what do you guys think? Does the 10mm angle look scale, or is it too wide? I'm still on the fence about it. I don't want to buy it if it doesn't look better than gopro, because It cost as much as 2.5 gopro's!! The only other advantage to a DSLR with this lens would be the still pictures, which is mostly what I do. |

Great angle and the perspective is fine. What camera are you using? I am looking at a 10-24MM but at close to $900 it is hard to justify as I also mainly use my DSLR for stills and a GoPro for the video. |

| Re: SCALE ADDICTiON I'm shooting with a Canon T2i. The lens you're talking about seems to be the Nikon version. The problem with a dedicated wide angle is that you're limited to what you can do with it. I might try the 15-85mm, which would be a better all around lens. Thanks for the input! |

I like the wide angle, I think it gives the truck a little more proportion. Great video too. Did you slow those shots down at all or were you driving it that slow? It looks real either way.
