Looks to handle quite a bit better than the RTR! I did not see any torque twist at all. Were you going easy on the throttle or do those sway bars help that much?

Can't wait for my kit.. I have a ton of aluminum upgrades, 500oz servo, Castle 2200kv, 150a esc, fast eddy bearings, and led lights all sitting on the work bench and no kit.. There is a box sitting on some boat that has my XL kit while I slowly die inside each day I trying to maintain a sliver of patience lol...

Yeah, the torque twist is better (although I don't own the RTR). Even at full throttle on concrete, the front right tire kicks up about 2-3 inches. Considering that's full traction, with the rear sway bar.

Were you running 4s or 6s Rich? I plan on 4s myself. I learned the hard way that nothing lasts long on 6s. Even after a ton of upgrades on my Associated Rival and Hpi Savage they still break a lot on 6s..

Re: Yeti XL KIT Running videos!!!

I was running 4s in the video, and only plan to run 4s. As with you, I don't care for 6s, as it does tear up vehicles. If you build a vehicle for the correct voltage, it will perform. I hate it when I see Slash 4x4's with massive 1/8th scale electronics, 6s, etc. I can clean those people up with a well balanced 2s system in an SCT

youtube has a share button and it looks like the V sideways. push it and then push embed. Then copy that and paste it here. And that is how it is done!

Here is a shot of my Losi Desert Buggy that will use the Yeti XL body that has a 17.5'' wheel base. It will use the Summit tranny, a set of 7954 400oz servos to get 800+oz of steering. The Castle 6s ESC with the Castle 1515 2200kv motor.

Today's run before heading home. Got the Cahones to start jumpin it. Only breakage was to my crappy glue job on my beads. Piece of grass got stuck in my ESC fan but luckily didn't go into Thermal Shutdown. It actually jumps surprising well for such a big heavy oinker.
