Default Yeti XL Maiden Run Video.. Success!!!!

Well after my 15sec test run that ended up pretty bad, i finally had a chance to do a full maiden.

Specs:
RX8 G2
Hobby Wing 4274SD-2200KV
15T Pinion
SPC 8200mAh, 50C, 2S
Shock Oil - 30WT Front - 30WT Rear - Rear Position
Diff Fluid - 20K Front 20k Rear

Impressions:
1. I had a Yeti 380 and this thing handles exactly the same but jumps better.

2. If you are not careful with throttle control it will TR like no tomorrow.

3. The suspension is so so but for now for now until i learn about how it truly handles it is surprising OK.

4. My electronics are a perfect combo IMO for TQ and a little speed. I don't care how "Fast" it goes. MPH is not what this rig was built for. I care on how it delivers power and how much. I would like to try a 17T pinion to see if the TQ will still be there but get a little more speed out of it. I would like to try 6S using my Wraith batteries to see what that has to offer but it won't be normal pack running. I may try 5S but finding batteries at this time seems to be difficult find matched one that are actually in stock.

5. I did a crappy job of building my shocks because they are leaking already. I think i used too much green slime because i can see some on the threads.

6. The tub gets filled pretty quickly with debris. I may have to make a shield like Zombi did for the 380 inner fenders or under body ?

7. I had a few roll overs and smacked a rock head on after a jump and no damage other than a few scratches. So far it had been durable.

8. I haven't glued tires in 10+ years and they actually held up.

9. The SPC batteries provided 22 total minutes of constant power. I think they will be a good bettry after a few cycles. I could definitely see a 30min session no problem until LVC.

Bottom Line:
I absolutely love this thing so far. Huge smile on my face at the end. I was still shaking a little. Very happy i went with the XL.
