Thank you guys

For being my first build I'm pretty happy

Both Hitec Servos Died on me, the front 5955 stop working and then while waiting for Comp with Sam at Rubicon Springs the rear 5995 Froze up
but it was a blast to drive

Going to add Those super Bright LED's for Rock lights Next and then my own design machined aluminum Rock Rings, they be sick looking

If mini actuators dont come soon I will have my Hitec servos sent in Or buy JR servos

Here's a few pics from Marlin Cralwer Rubicon Roundup 2008 RC crawler Competition

I took a Heli ride over Rubicon, Video here

Wiring diagram again
with the rush and my many connectors I ended up connecting the bec backwards and thus frying the servos with 9 volts, oops expensive mistake.
guess I dont work to good after midnight trying to finish it.

So always check your wiring

Nice crawler. I was wondering where you got the rings your gonna fabricate for your rock rings. I wanted to make some for 3.2" maximizer beadlocks since the screws dig into the plastic faceplate, and just the cool look. Those things are pretty thick too.

thanks
I found a guy on ebay selling beadlock rings. I asked him to cut me the rings
i think it was $30. for 5 40 series and 5 2.2 size

He used water jet to cut, so they are nicely done

it was awhile ago other wise I'd give the name

Oh that's cool. My Uncle owns a machine shop and I just now remembered that. I'll have to talk to him sometime and see what I can get made.

I think they make 85t & 95t lathe motors, but I thought brushless was supposed to be the best? Maybe try cordless drill motor...might be too long though...

those off set rod ends, do you have a part number for them?

btw this is an amazing build. really like the over all look of the rig and the mp3 player as a dash and using the steeringwheel to turn it on and control is just freakin genius

You need a Handwound Brushed 45T on 3 cell Lipo. That will give the power you want.
