Not all of them are.
Even on your stick packs you need to dry them out after they get wet. If they get soaked like they do in our boats sometimes the batteries can get really hot and short out if they get to wet.

To be sure, waterproof all your preciuos electronics and battery before going underwater. Always better to be safe than sorry.

all lipo packs are water proof.
all lipo cells are sealed as they are made, as long as your pack is not puffed with a vented cell than you have nothing to worry about |

Make sure you get the water out of the nooks and crannies.
Gearboxes can get water in them even though it doesn't seem possible. I don't know how it gets in there but I've had water inside of my Slash gearbox and differentials. The change in the noise of the gears told me something needed attention. I'm pretty sure I reduced the life of some of my bearings. |

Not so! Water won't get inside the cells, but that's true of most batteries. Water can cause the terminals to short out, which can cause a fire.

im with chris on this,,,my 2S lipos are waterproof as far as the individual cells are concerned but the wires that connect the cells together are exposed to water damage and corrosion etc....unless you have a pack listed as waterproof,,you better bag it or box it and make sure it is waterproof
