Hopefully I can put some vids together for the peeps soon.

The reason I did not go with memory foams is because they are temperature sensitive. The last comp I placed 3rd...and I jumped up a few places just because some guys left in their memory foams in for the comp...they turned to rocks and were totally useless.

They get hard when its cold outside, and soft when its hot outside. Nova's foams are non memory foam, they stay the exact same no matter how hot or cold.

Just cut a 1/2 inch wide, 1/4 inch deep V into the foam. If you want the maximum effect out of my foams, tuning is required. It's impossible to make a one size fits all foam for every application. There are way too many variances involved with RC rock crawlers.
any pics of the trimming for us visual sensitive peeps?

My current schedule does not allow me the time to do that. Maybe I can get a Team Driver to do that for me later. The channeling of the inner foam is no different than what drivers were doing to the Panther F400 foams for use in the Cougars. If you do a search on that you will see many posts and pictures. 4xFord (Shelby) post about making a lite weight Eritex wheel has the centered channeled out which is the same process needed for the firm inner Nova Foam. Just remove some of that inner material in between the firm inner and soft outer if you are looking for more forward bite.

Another thing to consider is that these foam break in after use. Put several battery packs and they soften slightly. I personally don't channel the foams used in my bergs. I am running siped soft compound Rovers and the siping makes the tire so soft any more forward bite would cause trouble. The same goes for my Panther Leopards.

Every truck, every driver, every terrain is unique. I can't account for every variable. I am trying to produce a product that will give competitive drivers an edge and the opportunity to tune them perfectly for them. I have more products in the works. Some of them are currently being tested nationwide and they are designed specifically at making tire foam tuning easier. It took four production runs to get the current 5.5 tall 2.2 dual stage foam where it is. Now that I have some drivers I trust and are helping, I am not going to release new product for sale until it's proven in multiple situations in multiple regions. Slowly everything will come together. I am very hands on and I love rc rock crawling. I want to be an innovator and make the sport grow and draw new people into it by producing products that make it easier for someone with little experience to be competitive. Everyone wants to get the most from whatever RC it is they own.
