And as most of us know, the only worse person to be at the mercy of would be an automotive painter, and maybe a wife. He will let everyone know when they are ready. Have patience my young Padawan's. He will come through. And they are worth the wait.

Default super 300 must read!!!!!!

I want to address one issue that i have found first. In the first gen. shafts the pin retainers where not heat treated, thus allowing the pins to dent the sleeves and walk out of one side of the cvd cup. the fix is to install heat treated rings with a hand ground pin that is .012 longer. To my knowledge there has only been 5 pins broken via this issue. To me and those 5 customers that is not exceptable. down time and loss of faith in what is supposed to be a bombproof product has to be eliminated.

the new rings and pins will be available within 10-14 days through the vendors via the rebuild kits that everyone has been asking about. the rebuilds will come with 4pins 4 sleeves and 2 barrels(no bearings to keep the cost down) they should be around 30 bucks or so from the vendors.

with that said the ever present question of ETA. This morning 45 sets are being shipped to TCS and hopefully by the end of the week I can fill the rest of the TCS order and be shipping to the rest of the vendors. As some have said, I am at the mercy of the machinists, he is also at mine as I am dropping off almost half of the shafts i recieved on Friday for small QC issues. I will fill orders in the order they where placed to me.

thanks for everyones patience!!! I will post as the shipments are shipped. I will try and get the vendors to put up pre-orders for the rebuild kits. PRE-ORDER them so they will order larger numbers and have plenty of stock for everyone.

All of the shafts that are shipping today have the V2 pins and rings.

Good to hear, it looks like I need to jump on the Super 300 bandwagon. I'm finally sick of breaking the stockers, a repair cost me a win at our local comp this weekend. I thing I'm on my 12th replacement. Thanks for being so good to us and for making such a bomb proof product

I dont think that any of the vendors have any left. if in question, here is how u tell. the rings that aren't heat treated are shiny, the heat treated ones are dulled and spotty. So as far as i know, u only need the rebuild kits if already have super 300 shafts. though a kit in the tool box never hurts.

Well that is just my luck that it happened to me twice. I had to flip the ring around to put the dented side on the other end of the shaft. Not bashing the product though, you are a great vendor with incredible service. Thanks again Superdave.

I dont have the 300 yet, been waiting for the one for the axial knuckles that is why i was asking because no one has the 300 for the axial knuckles in stock. so that is why i asked if you sent out any axial 300 out to the vendors

Thanks

sorry misunderstood the question. the long answer is that yes i sent some of TCS's order out only to discover tonight that I had to call him and have the 45 sets shipped back. a friend brought it to my attention that a bearing that previously had no fit issues now has an inconsistent fit.

So again I will have to appologize for the delays. But I do appreciate all of the input that EVERY one has given me on the product. This product is only here because, we where all tired of our junk breaking. that said I dont want any of my products causing more issues for the end user.

So for those of u waiting, unfortunetely the wait will be slightly longer. Agian my apologies, i just want to make a product that everyone can enjoy hassle-free for a long time to come!!!

Thanks for making sure everything is right before we get them though. I know after waiting a month for them and then if I were to find out that something was wrong after all that it would not be fun.

Good thing I got a moonbuggy to put together while I wait.
