Software list is short at the moment- low voltage cutoff, drag brake adjust

Future firmware features will include a hold brake, some different modes, throttle and brake profiles, and maybe a few more features if you want them.

I basically wanted a simple, light, and reliable controller for crawling duty. It can be put into an emaxx if you wanted. I hit up Castle to be included in their Castle link. They don't control the updates, but they will roll future firmware upgrades into their Castle link.
SOunds great John, thank you . What's " TM esc " ?for a berg?

TM = Torquemaster

I never had any problems with my FXR except for jerky low speed control but the newer software fixed that.

That said, my FXR got pulled out of my comp rig and it's getting replaced with a Torquemaster this week. I love how clean it can be with no external bec and no power switch. Plus I'm excited about the future software changes and features John is adding.

How about issues running Dual 45t or 35t motors on 4s lipo ?
I'm not aware of any but John is the best one to ask about that.

there are 2 threads about the torque master and in one of them there is talk about a dual motor set up in an e-maxx on 4 cell. i didnt hear what motors but even if it runs the stock 12turns. it should never have a problem on a dual 45t. and i have no idea how many he sold but they sold out fast, i bought mine 5 minutes after he posted the thread saying they were offically being put up for sale on the website. i was in the same predicament as you except i had a mamba max sitting in a drawer not being used and couldnt decide if i wanted to keep it or sell it and get a fx-r

It should be less than a month for a stock refresh, I have 450 on the way and the first batch was 118 ish controllers.

Absolutely no problems with that setup. A stock emaxx on 4s in 2nd gear runs just fine, so just about anything you want to throw at it crawler wise is no problem.

tell about the brake power and throttle compared to the fxr's you ran , would the throttle be just as smooth or better than the others ?

No prob. The drag brake is just as good as all the ones listed here and I dont think ones drag brake is better than the other. Castle and Tekin both are great products and with the new software on both of them I dont think id be able to tell the differance if you gave me the same car with both ESC's. I am going to be running 4 cell lipo now and appreciate the cleanlyness of not needing a BEC like the TM or the Mamba Max Pro therefor am running the Holmes Hobbies TM.

I am a die hard Tekin guy and use there products in all my race cars and all my crawles until the TM came out I had to give 4 cell a shot. I have had great luck with my FXR and will of course keep it for a scale build I have coming up. As for the amount of people running it im sure it will double quickly when the word gets out. Not many people want to spend a bill without seeing multiple write up's.

It said they were in stock when you paid for it but in the mean time it was changed to ore order only. I talked to them and the site has to be changed manually and it wasn't done for a few days after stock was gone. Oh well though it will be worth the wait.
