| HH torquemaster quiet mode?
just like the title, what is the quiet mode on the torquemaster. what does it do and what is the advantages and any disadvantages

If I remember correctly, it disables the beep noises when you power it up. Same as the Castle products.

Makes dog's leave your rig alone. If I run my rig with quiet mode on, my dog leaves it alone. If I run it with quiet mode off, my dog attacks my tires. I leave it on. |

It gets rig of most of the audible frequencies coming from the motor. I hate hearing that Whiiiiiine when I drive, and the quiet mode shuts it up so that nothing but tire noise and gear noise can be heard. A blessing for people running cobalt pullers, especially. Those are some noisy motors. |

thanks john, thats what i was hoping it was. i'll have to try it out i know my motor is pretty loud.

Ahhh, now I get it. I ran an FXR in an AX10 the other day, they guy I went with had a Torquemaster in an R1. The R1 was silent, the AX10 was a lot louder. This was especially noticable after driving his R1 for a while and then switching back to the AX10.
