![]() If you aren't afraid to mod the stock wheel and use a little epoxy, you can use any wheel you want...

the DX3,2,3.0,2.0 are all JR radios and use JR wheels. I am pretty sure the 3R also use's the same wheel mounting set up I have seen the wheel changed to aftermarket wheels.

Been to lazy to find my camera. And I think I have a spare wheel if someone else want to give it a go.

i use 4, 1/2 inch pieces of the clear servo tape. space them evenly in the grip. try streching the grip over the dx3r wheel as evenly as you can. then press into place did this w/ my dx3r almost a year ago and the servo tape is still holding like a champ |

pro tip: the kimbrough grip is way to big to do this thats why its cut..i had to cut about 1.4+in out of the grip to make it fit....if i used servo tape it would leave a big gap and it wouldnt be solid...

Well it looks fine to me and if you want to go this route and its too big, then nothing that Ole trust E-6000 cant fix. spread it out, put the grip on and then rubber band the hell outta it. In about 4 hours it should be good to go.
In the mean time I think Im gonna get a 1.55 rim from RC4WD and tire as They will sell ya one upon request. and give it a go for trial. I might even just stick with a 1.9 rim and tire thou as maybe thats a better size. |

I just used a flywheels wheel, and put a cover behind it to hide the existing steering wheel on my JR radio. I used 3M 2 sided tape to hold it in place and you can get all sorts of wheels from them. There is even a BF goodrich A/T offroad tire on a offroad rim if you look hard enough. Ebay is probably your best bet now though.
