Thanks Neal!

Had a blast, even if I was only 1 point out of the shoot-out!

I'm pretty sure I had 51 going into the final's....but I think everyone could argue what they had/thought they had.

In the end, I think the event came out even.

Ok guys, before this gets out of hand (this is NOT directed at you two)....

There were some issues with the scoring.

KCRC did the level best they could to judge the event as fairly as humanly possible. 3 or 4 of our guys have what I would refer to as "comp worthy" judging experience. The rest of our guys are new to the scene or fairly new.

We had a couple judges drop out on us last minute so some of our guys got "thrown in the fire" and were called upon to judge.

We didn't want to have to resort to having some of our guests act as judges so we opted to train these "new" guys as best we could over the 4-5 days leading up to the event.

As anyone (anyone who is reasonable) can see, this presents a potential problem. No one involved with our club had anything to gain or lose from the errors made (if they were in fact made).

I think its best to say "Whats done is done" and move along, be glad that it was good time on some challenging courses and look forward to the next event we host.

In the future, for ALL large KCRC events the issues will be resolved via the following:

1. NO ONE from KCRC that is judging will be running in the comp.
2. ALL scores will be totaled at the end of each course
3. ALL scores will be reviewed by the competitor and signed
4. ALL score disputes will be handled by the event director (his decision is final)
5. ALL results are final. NO complaints will be addressed after the comp.

That should resolve any issues from here forward.

Lastly, if we made a mistake, we are truly sorry for the error. We ALL hope regardless, that your trip was a good one and the fun events of the day made up for any issues you may have had.

KCRC is dedicated to providing a fun atmosphere for everyone who comes to one of our events and will always fly the flag of "Fun first, Competition second"

Thanks for listening.

Well, I certainly had fun. You know those extra 2 points would have really helped me in the standings

Like I said before....I think everything worked out even. I've NEVER been to an event were everyone felt things were scored/judged perfect. I think you did great and handled any problems very professionally. I will be back next year.

I can't remember a pro football game I've ever watched that I didn't dis-agree with a ref's call....it's just part of competition.

Great job guys

I had a great time. Thanks to all the KC guys who put on this event. A lot of effort was put into it, and it showed. Also, a big thanks to all the vendors who made donations. A ton of great prizes were handed out. I'll post my pics and vids tomorrow...I'm still tired.

Awesome comp guys!! I had a blast this weekend.

Congrats to Austin on the win, it was a great battle right to the end.

I'd like to thank the KC club for all their hard work. You guys did a excellent job building the courses, had a great mix of terrain. I'll be back next year.

I'd also like to thank my sponsors, I couldn't have pulled off 2nd place without their help.
