1:1 Trail Ride on Monday 9/8
Monday we'll be running the Hell's Revenge trail.
We will be leaving from Milt's diner at 10am, don't be late. Each vehicle will need to pay $5.00 to get into the sand flats recreation area to gain access to the trail. Our trail leader this year will be Steve Nantz from the Moab 4x4 Outpost. Be sure to bring your crawlers as we'll stop a few places along the trail to do some rc crawling. Also plan on packing a lunch and a bunch of water as we'll be out in the middle of the desert all day long. The trail ride usually lasts all day long, so I wouldn't make any plans to be back early. You are welcome to bring your own rig on the trailride, I would reccommend a minimum of 32" tires, some body protection, and a rear locker, but I've seen people do it with less. The other option which is what I am doing is to rent a Jeep. Cliffhanger Jeep Rental has always treated us well, and has agreed to knock $25.00 off each rental if you mention you are with RCCrawler.com. To reserve your Jeep call 435-259-0889 and ask for Jeff. Be sure to tell them you are with RCC. You don't have to be a super experienced wheeler to go on the trailride with us, in the past years people who have never driven offroad have had a great time with us. There are several of us who have been competing in the 1:1 world for quite a while and as long as you listen to us spot you through the hard stuff you will be just fine. Here are some pics from last years 1:1 trip in case you are on the fence about going. It really is one of the funnest parts about Nationals.  ^ That had to suck     ^ This guys a pro   Watch your line driver!

Well look at that, I didn't avoid all the other cameras afterall.
Sucks because it turns out I may not be able to go this year, already reserved the cabin and everything too. Ugh.

Looks like they are all booked up for the reg Jeeps and I just booked a 4 door. They have one 4 door left, so you better get on it
