Hi everyone,

After some gentle prodding, I've finally decided to offer my brazing/tuber building services up here on rcc. I've actually been a vendor over on Crawl Canada for a while now (got to support your home country ), but know there's interest here as well for custom builds.

First, we'll start off with lots and lots of photos of my previous work.

Some of this has been for practice, some for personal use, some for customers. Certainly in my earlier days of brazing, I did copy other designs to get the hang of building tubers. I don't do that now, but definitely take cues from other builds. My preference is to do new designs or scale down 1:1 rigs to rc scale.

Wow looks like you've built some very cool stuff. How much would something like the Fat Girl or rock buggy in the second group cost??

I wish you the best of luck here! One question- do you only do tubers or can you also do tube bumpers? I have nothing yet but soon I will need one.

I've been dealing with Chris( Ecoli ) for a few months and i have 3 of his tubers. I am already in talks for a few more. He is a Tuber god. Chris build the Piglet for me from pics. He has never seen the piglet in person. I snapped dozen of pics of the Warthog and gave them to him. He built is dead on.

I HIGHELY recommend to everyone that is looking for a tuber.

Keep up the good work buddy.

Never tried building one, but doesn't mean that I wouldn't try. If it's steel and can be brazed, I can probably do something I'm working on a couple of scale builds very soon, so watch for pics.

That is the Fat Girl. At this time, it'll be the only one for a few reasons. If I do offer that build in the future, I'll make sure to post up a thread in the vendor section, there's definitely interest in this frame!

Only problem is that shipping varies so much internationally. It's much cheaper for me to ship to Europe than say Japan or Australia. I will check into it further though and see if a flat rate is possible.

Justin has been great with the back and forth communication as well as taking the bare tuber and finishing it up so I have nice pics to show off! Plus, he's got some incredible build ideas. I'm just happy to have been able to offer my building services to him to start with.

I'll be seeing the Warthog this next weekend finally !

Nice body of work ecoli. I hope your venture into the US market will be a prosperous one.
I have been toying with the idea of turning my current comp rig into a tuber as soon as I can decide on a direction with a MOA truck.
I'm sure you will have plenty of business.

If you're willing to sand it all yourself, I'd knock $15 off, so $115 shipped. Paint is cheap and quick, so not really any savings on my end there

Thanks again everyone for the welcome, and the orders

Depends on the design you have in mind, but I'm guessing around $170 shipped. That doesn't include the lexan body.
