I can't wait either, I let the smoke out of my first handwound motor.
I am looking for a replacement, I was going to get a HH machine wound, but I saw this thread. I don't know which to get? I would have to get a new esc, and motor about 200. vs $25 for brushed.

It's only money, you can't take it with you when you die

True, but I'm on a budget (7 month old girl and a wife). I can't crawl until Dec. How much are Mamba Max's selling for (old ver)?

I dunno, but they don't have a sensor port and can't be used with a sensored motor.

I need to sell old mamba to help get new mamba.
John is going to have a combo of mmp + Outer runner unless
he can get his own esc together by Dec.

I should be getting a few more protos here soon. The last holdup was because of magnets, the ones for this motor are custom made for me and have a 6 week lead time. Add that to a few rounds of protos and 3 months flys by. I sent off yet another wiring diagram and sample to the factory, lets hope they can duplicate it properly this time. I hate missing deadlines when it isn't in my control.

Even if it takes a year... I'm sure it will be worth the wait

I'm trying to stay patient as well. The magnets are the holdup, they are totally custom and are taking a while to get made.

I just put an order in for a matched set of 45 pro's. If this is gonna be a "go" in the next 4 months can I cancel my order for now. I'll wait for these most definitely. It would be so COOL to have brushless XR10

I can't guarantee anything in four months. It may be a month till I get another proto, a few more weeks of testing, another 6 weeks for second proto run, hope they come back right, etc.. Time adds up fast.

I can live with a couple Integy cheapies for 6 months or so ....I'll leave it up to you. If you are comfotable matching those 45 turn pros for my XR10 that would be no problem with me. I might buy a pair of your new brushless motors when they come out.
It's been a whole day since I went on your site and ordered them. They aren't here yet?

We have already started production for the raw parts for the first short run of 100 units and are just finalizing the build sheet for the winders and assemblers.
