| Project true scale - Aluminum Toyota body!
Well now that i have finished Big_ern's truck it's time for me to start my next scale truck. This is actually the continuation of my first truck Project True scale test rig That one was a kind of test bed for some of my ideas for suspension and to see how durable an aluminum body would be on a trail truck. Well after beating on it for over a year it's still holding up good and I'm ready to take the next step. This truck will be based on my aluminum Toy bodies but unlike my other trucks this one will be the ultimate in scale realism. More than likely this one will also be a test truck as i have some body ideas that need to be addressed and I'll probably destroy this body for research purposes in order to make fine tunings on the final body Here is what i have so far Pretty much all the skins are done. I'm going to move onto the bed first since i have the rear panel bed floor molds done. Progress will probably be slow on this one as the holidays are coming and i have all winter to get it done. |

What Guage ali are you using? and are you using the body as a former or have you cast it into something else?

I was wondering that too, I thought you had decided against using the plastic body as a mold due to wear issues. I guess one set of panels won't hurt too much. | |

| WOW, just when you think you've seen it all, most excellent work there. On this site there is no "seen it all", lol. Hmmm, a body you can't wait to scratch, don't say that very much, lol, . Subscribed. Also curious about the guage, same as the last truck?

I'm confused, so is this going to be like your Red one. The panels we see now will be painted? Could we get shots of the under side of these? I'm really feeling this build very cool.
