Default WT's Jeep XJ with MRC-MMSC

Started on this build a couple of moth back.

Scaleoffroad Jeep XJ Body
Losi MRC Drivetrain.
Midgard Factory MMSC chassis

Couple of pics.

Chassi is pretty much bolt on.

Body is primed a ready to be painted. And a perfect fit to the chassi.

looks great, spare tire is a no go IMO. way too large. also you need black wheels, those look like 20s or something, maybe just paint the outer lip black to make it look like a smaller wheel.

or use these 1.5's with reduced trail docs...
(these are reduced XL's though)

I'll have pics of standard size tires (mud thrashers) reduced on these wheels shortly.

Paint came out nice, I heard these bodies were abit harder to paint. Wicked set of Jeeps.

Yeah, the bodies aren't for newbies. Stick to the Wranglers, they look good.

I will give you credit on the lights.

Overall, not digging it. Those Topcad wheels look terrible, go back to the first black setup.

I have a set of M-chassi wheels on the way, and will reduce some TD XL's

I like the tire carrier, spare is a little bit big but still cool, might have to give that a try on my OG XJ.

I see you got some windows in, have fun yet?

what kind of tire is on the 6th or 7th picture down? It looks good. would it fit on the stock losi 1.9 rim? Is it soft? would like to get a set.
