chassis twist?????

I have been searching the forum about shocks and the angles at which you mount them I found one good post that applies to my situation and wanted more info. here is the link of the post that I found.
I have a new chassis that I built and want to know how to kill the chassis twist. I was wondering if mounting the shocks inward like this O-/---\-O would work to elimintate the chassis from twisting? the O are the tires and the - are the axle the / \ are the shocks.

I have noticed that if I push the left or right ( front and rear ) side of the axles towards each other the chassis flops to the opposite side I am applying pressure to. This is what I am trying to fix. Any help would be greatly appreciated! :? :? :? Sorry for the fuzzy pic dont know what happened????

The more you stand your shocks up vertically, the more it'll stiffen up your suspension. Same thing applies when laying them down more, your suspension will soften up. Link position plays a big roll too.

Search for "torque twist", it'll yeild a ton of results, there's some good info on the first couple pages.

Do you have any pics of your set-up to post?

Looking at that pic, it looks like the shocks need to be spread apart more. Try to get the lower shock mounts as far out on the axle as possible, then lean the uppers in just so the shocks have a slight angle to them.

Go a pic from the side, are your upper links flat?

The Maxx shocks will be better then the stockers for sure, I think 60wt might be too heavy for a TLT. I run 15w in mine with soft Losi springs.

Your link set-up doesn't look bad. Do your axles sway side to side as the suspension cycles?

I double triangulated my links and mounted the uppers flat, it's stable, doesn't have any axle steer and almost zero torque twist. There's a bunch of pics of my TLT's link set-up here:

re mount your links so you triangulate both upper and lower mounts..

V and ^ ....?make sense? right now you have |V| make the | | = ^

I see what you are saying... how much triangulation do I need? would changing the shock mount and the upper link mount be enough? can you see what I mean this pic sucks! sorry.

As far as the crawler just a lot of imitation. this is my first build just want to get it right.
