jeep body is from a plastic model kit//with the gearing kit it does a little better/& it has proportional throttle & steering.

needs diffs locked though.
with the lift & bigger tires it can handle more obsticles, but still looses traction from open diffs.

this thing doesnt have alot of flex, but i think if i can get the diffs locked it will be a decent trail rig, should handle some rocks!!
got the lift & tires in.
i think i did everything about 5 times.
put in wrong parts.

so it crawls a little better now.
i will get pics when i get batteries for my cam later.
i am going to figure out how to lock the diffs also.

lockin the spiders, they are in the middle of this gearset/
i could not get it apart, so i poured plastic model cement down in it//about 8 or 9 times from both sides.

here is the rear end

got it locked front & rear, with the notched on middle swivle cut mostly/

good flex. lots of traction.
the lowest gear still is too high though.
i need to find even lower gears or make another reduction where motor is & move motor up.

maybe you could find some larger tires from a different truck kit. i remember mpc and others offering lots of 4x4 kits at one time.

Probably a stupid idea, and your motor would hate you but if you had a lathe, stupidity and welding magnets you could make some new magnets.

220,000 rpm for about 2 seconds then theyres a lot of smoke.
Joke.
If i had a motor to spare id try to make it work with welding magnets. imagine the grunt.
